Learner Outcomes

Refresh previous cross-sectional anatomy knowledge through exposure to images obtained via different modalities. In addition to computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) images, the learner will also study images from ultrasound and PET/CT. Learners will be required to identify structures on cross-sectional images as well as describe relationships between adjacent structures.

Madden, M. E. Introduction to Sectional Anatomy. 3rd ed Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins, 2013. ISBN: 978-1-60913-961-2. Not included in course fee. It is recommended that students obtain this textbook prior to starting the course. Students are responsible for acquiring course textbooks. Textbook can be purchased at the U of T bookstore.
