Duties

Must be a current member in good standings with CMRTO
Member of the CAMRT/OAMRS preferred
Current BCLS Heartsaver certificate preferred
Successful completion of Contrast Injection Course
Additional training in CT preferred
Ability to exercise good judgement and application of technical factors when assessing patient capabilities and limitations
Ensures Professionalism in the provision of timely, accurate and precise Diagnostic Imaging procedures and quality patient care while ensuring all abnormal and urgent cases are handled in an expedited process
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
Ability to operate relevant equipment and software for imaging, non imaging and patient care applications
Ability to perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures to professional standards / following the College Standards of Practice
Ability to assist in invasive procedures as required
Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques and infection control practices
Ability to perform the essential duties of the job
Ability to work independently and be an integral part of the Diagnostic Imaging team while ensuring the provision of timely, accurate and precise procedures and quality patient care
Demonstration of strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Utilizes effective listening skills to maximize understanding of issues
Communicates effectively using timely, appropriate written, verbal and non-verbal means
Demonstrates commitment to professional development, learning staying current
Proven attendance record
