Corporate Quality Auditor/QA Representative
The Corporate Quality Auditor/QA Representative coordinates, implements, conducts and/or oversees the various Quality Assurance programs, policies, procedures and audits to assure accreditation. The Corporate Quality Auditor/QA Representative handles Quality Assurance concerns, reporting any unresolved issues to the Manager, Corporate Quality & Compliance. The Corporate Quality Auditor/QA Representative acts as QA Representative for Bowmanville and handles Quality Assurance concerns and prepares the site for their regulatory inspections.
Performs quality assurance audits and prepares reports, to ensure the facilitation of continuous quality improvement within all clinical departments, lines of businesses, and Specimen Collection Centers. Prepares audit reports and summary statistics reports for presentation to the Manager, Corporate Quality & Compliance.
Participates in accreditation and inspection processes from regulatory agencies as required.
Co-ordinates a quality audit program for main laboratory facilities, Stat Laboratories, Specimen Collection Centers (LHSCs), Logistics, Mobile Services, and other lines of business; and ensures that all findings are appropriately recorded and reported to the Manager, Corporate Quality & Compliance for inclusion in the annual QA Rep
Evaluates responses to audit and CAPA non-conformances and reports, and performs follow-up with respondents, management, and others as required, to ensure resolution.
Assists in the development, implementation and review of control mechanisms and processes to ensure compliance.
Conducts reviews of clinical trials study management
Provides regulatory training and corporate quality programs training.
Performs external quality assurance audits of vendors and other providers.
Completes special projects as required by Dynacare.
Familiarity with all applicable laboratory regulations/guidelines (IQMH, FDA, CAP, ISO)
Certification or degree required
CMLTO Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist
5 years previous auditing experience.
Full proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Nice to have:
French language proficiency is an asset
Lean Six Sigma certified (Greenbelt) an asset.
Certified Quality Auditor an asset
Ability to organize and prioritize
Demonstrated superior oral & written communication skills; strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, ability to effectively manage constraints and competing priorities; ability to multi-task on learning initiatives of varying complexity
Ability to drive tasks to closure
Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
This position requires travel within Canada up to 50 %. The successful candidate will require a reliable mode of transportation.
