Duties
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist in coordinating and implementing SOADI Foot Care events throughout
Northern Ontario
Share educational information and resources on diabetes and foot care to
Indigenous communities and individuals
Assist the Circle of Care Coordinator in registering practitioners into the program
Update and edit the program resource directory with new contacts and health
service providers
Assist Circle of Care Coordinator in processing foot care treatment subsidies and
updating clinic client information, while maintaining confidentiality
Assist Circle of Care Coordinator in data entry for all outreach and client services
Performing administrative duties
Represent SOADI at all functions in a professional manner and with respect to
our mandate, mission statement and values
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be designated by the Circle of
Care Coordinator
Requirements
Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 2 years + experience in administrative duties
Established and proven record as a dependable and competent person
Working knowledge of office technology, using a laptop computer for word
processing and communications
Knowledge of Indigenous organizations
Co-operative, conscientious, and reliable, with strong skills in planning and work
organization
Knowledge of, or background in Indigenous health, diabetes and foot care an
asset
Able to travel and have a valid drivers’ license
Must be able to lift and transport large display boards and resources
