Roseli Melo

Client Services Coordinator

Roseli Melo is the Client Services Coordinator for CASE and the Simulated Participant Program. She is the first point of contact for any internal and external client looking to book a simulated patient.  She manages the Simulated Participant recruiting and training actors to support the academic programs.  She works closely with the Leads of the programs to ensure that their needs will be attended to. Roseli has a graduate Certificate, Advertising Account Management from Centennial College and has over 20 years of experience in advertising and customer services field.

Kerri Weir

Simulated Participant Trainer

A Simulated Participant/Standardized Patient (SP) trainer and role player for over 15 years, Kerri is thrilled to be joining the CASE team at The Michener Institute. Her focus will be on training SPs, teaching workshops, role development, moulage and creatively thinking about education meeting simulation.

Andy Berthiaume – B.A., M.A.

Simulation Operations Specialist

Andrew Berthiaume is a Simulation Operations Specialist for the CASE team at the Michener Institute. He assists with simulation activities and the running of the CASE facilities.  He recently completed his Master of Arts in Integrated Studies (with a specialization in adult education) from Athabasca University. He has also completed a radio and television broadcasting post-diploma from Seneca at York, public relations and communications courses from Ryerson University, a TESL diploma, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor.

Jordan Holmes – B.Eng., MRT(N), CHSE, M.Ed.

CASE Manager

Jordan Holmes is the Manager of the Centre for Learning, Innovation, and Simulation at the Michener Institute of Education at University Health Network, St. Patrick Campus.  Jordan has extensive experience in simulation-based healthcare education, including curriculum design, clinical integration, debriefing and facilitation, assessment, audio-visual implementation, and learning management system administration.  Jordan has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a Master’s degree in Education and Digital Technologies, and a clinical and teaching background in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technology.  Jordan is also a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, and is faculty with SIM-one, the Ontario Simulation Network.
