Position: Full Time X-ray and/or BMD Technologist

Status: Weekday only, 8:30-4:30

Site: Apex Diagnostic Services, Peterborough, Ontario.

Start Date: Immediately

Salary: $38-$42/hr

Description:

Small Town Peterborough Community Clinic, with great family oriented working environment, where quality is regarded above quantity. If relocating to Peterborough for this job, assistance in securing primary care provided.  Position is eligible for sick day benefits.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be a graduate from a Canadian accredited Program

At least one year experience as a professional Technologist

Candidate must be registered with CMRTO and CAMRT

Current CBMD certification with the OAR is an asset, but Free training will be provided if not certified. The course will be paid for and assistance will be given to help with practical examinations.

Current BCLS CPR certification is an asset

Proof of current vulnerable persons/police criminal record check

Required Skills:

Performs radiography procedures, and Bone Mineral Densities efficiently, in a fast paced environment.

Proven computer literacy

Preference given to experience in EMR environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving abilities

Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently, and/or as part of the inter-professional team.

Demonstrates commitment to professional development

Demonstrates good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain the same standard.
