Here’s how

-Conduct ECG and stress tests including setting up electrodes/wires, blood pressure monitoring
-Review and print results from stress and resting ECG’s
-Confer professionally with medical personnel regarding abnormalities and results
-Monitor patient safety throughout the test, including using defibrillator when required
-Perform vision, hearing, spirometry, audio testing
-Explain procedures to patients and answer testing related questions
-Supporting physicians as required
-Keeping lab tidy and clean, ensuring examination rooms and executive change rooms are stocked with medical supplies
-Perform other testing and clinic-related tasks as required
-Performs medical procedures in accordance with regulatory body guidelines and Telus Health Care Centres internal policies

Requirements

Qualifications
You're the missing piece of the puzzle

-Completion of a post-secondary Cardiology Technology program required
-Ontario Society Cardiac Technologist (OSCT) registration and CPR level (C) is mandatory
-Min 1 year of clinical experience with exercise testing, stress & resting ECGs
-Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
-Ability to prioritize and make decisions affecting patient care. Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, while delivering highest level of patient care
-Personal qualities must include high level of maturity, professionalism, respect for confidentiality and commitment to the superior level of customer satisfaction
-Self-starter who demonstrates attention to detail, a high level of accountability and sound judgment
-Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Works well under pressure and demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing time sensitive tasks
