Duties

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled part-time or full-time Chiropodist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. You’ll step into an established patient load and build your own clientele while working alongside our close-knit team, which includes a fully trained assistant.

This position is ideal for a Chiropodist who values a balanced work schedule, wants to make an impact, and is looking to join a practice with deep community roots.

What You’ll Do:
Patient Care:
Deliver comprehensive chiropody services in accordance with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario, including:
-Foot health assessments and diagnostics
-Developing treatment plans for a variety of conditions, including corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, diabetic foot care, wound management, and foot deformities
-Providing in-house orthotic modifications and custom solutions for patients’ unique needs
-Educating patients on preventive foot care and advising on footwear to promote long-term foot health
-Performing minor surgical procedures, such as nail avulsions, as needed

Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient treatment plans and progress.

Requirements

Qualifications:
-Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
-A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chiropodist, with strong proficiency in biomechanics and orthotic modifications. Experience in a private practice setting is preferred.
-Professional liability insurance as required by the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
-Ability to work independently and ethically in a private clinic setting
-Excellent communication skills to explain diagnoses and treatment plans effectively
-Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, ensuring comfort and well-being
