Duties
The Chiropodist will provide professional patient care, including but not limited to: nail and callus care, wart treatment, treating acute and chronic wounds, custom orthotics, biomechanical and gait analysis, ingrown nails, fungal nails, laser and shockwave treatments, pain management, nail surgeries, Ony Fix Nail Bracing, Swift Wart Laser, health education/counselling etc.…
Requirements:
-Licensed Chiropody Diploma (D.Ch.)
-Friendly, Professional, Outgoing and Ideal Team Player
-Excellent communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
-Proven flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills as relates to patient care
-demonstrated competency and professionalism; consistently demonstrates knowledge and expertise following the standards of practice expected by the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
-demonstrates strong written and communication skills; listens for clarity and meaning, and communicates in an honest manner to make sure there is mutual understanding between patient and practioner.
