Duties

We invite applications from Certified Respiratory Therapists with interest in a permanent, full time opening in Community Respiratory Therapy.

Days of work are Mondays to Fridays 08:00 to 16:00 hours. An attractive remuneration package and excellent career prospects await the right candidate. The Community Respiratory Therapist works within the hospital and community to deliver respiratory therapy services and programs related to Community Respiratory Therapy:
• The promotion of respiratory health;
• The assessment, education, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with respiratory dysfunction;
• Communicating and demonstrating community and hospital based respiratory care procedures to other health care professionals and students;
• The use of respiratory equipment or special procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications
• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT).
• Current valid BC Driver’s License.
