Position Summary
Our cohesive laboratory team at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C. have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Cytology Technologist II. Days of work are Monday to Friday day shifts, with weekends and stat days off. This position offers a $10,000 signing bonus plus generous relocation allowance.
About the job:
Cytotechnologists work in team-based environments and perform a variety of duties within the Lab related to established cytology procedures. This is a hands-on and varied role which may include attending fine needle aspiration (FNA) clinics, managing files of tissues and slides, assisting with quality assurance and working in the Histology section of the Lab.

Requirements
Qualifications
• Graduate of a Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science approved Cytology program plus two years’ recent, related Cytology experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with the BC Society of Laboratory Sciences (BCSLS)
