Duties
-Performs Rest and Stress Echocardiography procedures efficiently, in a fast paced environment.
-Left handed scanning.
-Proven computer literacy for preliminary reporting.
-Preference given to experience in EMR environment
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving abilities
-Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently, and/or as part of the inter-professional team.
-Demonstrates commitment to professional development
-Demonstrates good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain the same standard.
Requirements
-Candidates must be a graduate from a Canadian accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program
-At least one year Canadian experience as a professional Cardiac Sonographer
-Stress Echo capabilities preferred.
-Candidate must be registered with CMRITO, and Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS
-Current BCLS CPR certification is required.
-Proof of current police criminal record check

Salary
$30-$40 per hour
Comments
-$30 - $40 per hour depending on experience. There is a $250 Retention Bonus for successfully working 90 days.
-IF relocating to Peterborough for this job, assistance in securing primary care provided. Position is eligible for sick day benefits.
