Position Description
Part-time/Full-time options available. Experienced Chiropodists and New Graduates are welcome to apply.
Conduct comprehensive and full-scope Chiropody services, including:
· Perform biomechanical and gait assessments
· Prescribe and modify custom foot orthoses
· Develop and implement treatment and management plans for various foot conditions, including corns, calluses, warts, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, diabetic foot care, wound management
· Perform minor surgical procedures, such as nail avulsions
· Educate patients on proper foot care practices, preventative measures, and footwear choices
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
Qualifications/Requirements
· Demonstrates an exceptional, compassionate, and ethical approach to patient care
· Self-motivated and reliable with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to contribute a collaborative and compassionate team environment
· Excellent communication with patients and referring providers and experience in providing effective patient education
· Committed to learning and development, and up to date in the latest evidence-based Chiropody advancements
· Registered in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO)
· Current Professional Liability Insurance in keeping with the COCOO Standards
· Certified in CPR and First Aid

· Clinic is located within a multidisciplinary health facility which includes the local Family Health Team, which contributes to its strong referral network.
