Duties

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical procedures within the Microbiology Laboratory.

Requirements

Qualifications:
•Must be a graduate of a recognized program for Medical Laboratory Technology
•Must be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (C.M.L.T.O)
•Experience with and demonstrated understanding of quality assurance and good laboratory practice
•Effective analytical and problem solving skills, high level of initiative and, organizational skills
•Evidence of participation in continuing education
•Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer software applications
•Preference will be given to applicants with recent experience with PCR
•Satisfactory attendance and performance record required
