The successful candidate will be working the Cytology section of the laboratory. Job Duties are outlined in the job description for a Laboratory Technologist.
Graduation from a School of Cytotechnology and current registration in the Canadian Society of Laboratory Science and practicing status with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Laboratory Technologists
Ability to perform all processes in Cytology, including specimen receiving, preparation and reporting of both gynecological and non-gynecological specimens
Recent experience in Cytology
Ability to work alone
Attendance records may be reviewed
Knowledge of transportation of infectious substances
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
75 hours bi-weekly
$26.9698 - $32.8371 hourly
