Duties

Position Summary
Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is seeking a Permanent Part Time (0.68 FTE) Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join the Medical Imaging Department. This position will work days and evenings with the shift times being between 08:00 to 16:00 or 15:00 to 21:00.

What Will You Work On?
The Operating Room (OR) MRT will perform radiographic/fluoroscopic and related duties working in conjunction with radiologists and will be responsible for all radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and procedures/examinations in the OR.

Many nearby communities rely on our site for imaging resulting in a very busy and diverse atmosphere. The successful applicant will be providing X-ray services to inpatients and outpatients, making a difference within many communities.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a technologist who has experience working in the Operating Room. The successful applicant must be able to work independently but also have great team work.

Requirements

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.

Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).

Two years’ recent related experience and 6 month’s work experience in the Operating Room or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the facility.
