Duties
Temporary Contract: October 15, 2023 to September 30, 2024
Part-time X-Ray position with regular rotations in CT. The Medical Radiation Technologist performs a variety of radiological imaging techniques, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, operating room studies and CT.
This temporary part-time position requires shifts during days, evenings and nights including weekends. The MRT will also participate in student clinical education and rotational on-call coverage from 12 midnight to 7am with maxiumum on-site response time of 30 minutes.
The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
• Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and ImagingTechnologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required
• Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists preferred
• Experience in general radiography, gastrics, mobile radiography, intra-operative radiography including orthopedic radiographic OR procedures is required.
• Experience in CT including IV access and contrast media injections is required
• Evidence of continuing education related to the profession is required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Regular attendance is required
