Duties
Reporting to the Manager, The Radiological Technologist is responsible for the delivery of patient centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision, while exercising independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative. The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying the ALARA principle, while continuously remaining responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care. The Radiological Technologist is responsible for effective communication in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary environment while fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.
Requirements
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
- Eligible for Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- Previous experience is an asset
- Qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is an asset

Hours

Salary
$29.79 - $36.27 hourly
Comments
Successful candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus and up to $5000 in relocation assistance for a return of service commitment.
