Duties

Position Summary

We are seeking a permanent part time (0.50 FTE) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the position promotes a safe environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader (or designate), the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:

Graduate of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.

Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
