Position Summary

East Kootenay Regional Hospital (EKH) is seeking a Project Position Part-Time (0.40) MRI Technologist to join its imaging team in Cranbrook, B.C. This position will work rotating days until approximately January 2023.

What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader (or designate), the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This position is responsible for assisting the Radiologists during procedure, inputting patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and providing direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees. EKH is the only scanner in the EK Region and provide care for patients all through the region from Creston to Golden.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
