Duties

What You Bring:

- Ability to perform quality control, procedures and maintain records for Nuclear Medicine equipment
- Works with the NM lead/RSO to ensure proper equipment maintenance on the medical device and cameras in accordance with department standards.
- Ability to perform Cardiac and General Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with CMRITO, MOH and CNSC regulations
- Preparation and administration of radioactive materials (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients.
- Commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with clinic policies, Health & Safety and IPAC.
- Excellent patient care
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem solving-skills
- The ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with all members of your healthcare team
- Maintain competence in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine technology as required by CMRITO
- Positive work attitude: reliable, punctual, and flexible
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer knowledge and software proficiency is required
- Experience with Velox is an asset

Requirements

Qualifications Include:

- Successful completion of recognized Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- 1 year of Nuclear Medicine technologist experience an asset
- Current CMRITO + CAMRT Registration
- Current Professional Liability Insurance
- Current CPR-C Certification
