The Nuclear Technologist is responsible for the clinical application of clinical competencies in the provision of nuclear medicine imaging/non-imaging services.
Adherence to MRT guidelines in exceeding standards in quality of care
Utilize principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to self, co-workers and patients.
Perform Nuclear Diagnostic procedures while adhering to CMRTO/CAMRT guidelines.
Performing quality control of department instrumentation and report anomalies to Nuclear Manager.
Ordering and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic procedures.
Image analysis and data manipulation.
Receipt and transport of TDG class 7 items.
Provide quality care and service to patients and the referring team.
Completion of a Recognized Program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Member in good standing of the CMRTO
Member in good standing with CAMRT/OAMRS
Minimum 1 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
