Permanent part-time Medical Laboratory Technologist, Laboratory

Accurately and efficiently perform, report and interpret laboratory procedures, under the supervision of a Charge Medical Laboratory Technologist.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Perform automated and manual laboratory procedures
-Use, interpret and review quality control and quality assurance materials and techniques
-Perform routine and preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment, when required
-Maintain accuracy and precision in collecting, registering, analyzing and reporting test results
-Assist with special projects and all other duties as assigned
-Must be licensed with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario
-Must be experienced in all aspects of Medical Laboratory Technology techniques
-Must possess certification from the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Technologist
Variable shifts including some pre-booked shifts and weekends (7.5 and 11.25 hour shifts)
