Interior Health’s Cariboo Memorial Hospital invites applications for the role of permanent, part-time Respiratory Therapist. Relocation Allowance, an exceptional employer-paid benefits package, and generous vacation entitlement to be included with the position.
We are seeking a knowledgeable Respiratory Therapist, with recent acute care experience, who practices within a client and family centered care model and comfortable with high acuity/emergency situations to assist the Critical Care and Emergency Department Teams. In this position the Respiratory Therapist treats inpatients of all ages with acute respiratory problems/issues, the occasional outpatients for spirometries and individuals within the COVID unit. As member of the CMH health care team, the Respiratory Therapist works independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team consulting, conferring, and collaborating with others.
Shifts will be on a rotating schedule of Days (10:00 to 18:00 hours). Opportunity to add additional hours to the part time schedule is available. This position carries no on-call. Practice support is available from the other Respiratory Therapists within CMH and Respiratory Therapy Professional Practice Leaders within the Interior Health organization.

• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
• Current valid BC Driver’s License.
