Key Duties & Responsibilities

Following batch records for the manufacture and aseptic compounding of multiple products on a daily basis
Handles and packages radiopharmaceuticals and other hazardous waste materials, including disposal in compliance with Company policies, corporate standards and Health and Safety rules
Compliance with all regulations, Company policies, Corporate standards and Health and Safety rules as related to this role
Maintains cleanliness of the laboratory in accordance with CPDC policies and GMP rules
Performs inventory control
Completes all protocols as it relates to radiation shipping containers
Proactively participates in maintaining a safe work environment by completing required training and providing suggestions for improvement
Performs quality control tests on equipment and prepared products
Performs labeling procedures
Adheres to company aseptic controls in place
Complies with Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, applicable laws and regulation
Identifies and reports any Quality & Compliance concerns to supervisor
Receives and processes radiopharmaceutical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), when required
All other duties as assigned



Post-secondary education in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or a related field
2 years of experience as a SPECT Radiopharmaceutical Production Technician or similar role
Previous experience in the preparation and/or dispensing of pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical products
Experience with compounding radioisotopes is an asset
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) is considered an asset
Ability to effectively communicate and excellent problem solving skills
Proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
The ability to lift 23 kilograms (50 pounds) routinely
A willingness to accommodate shift changes based on business needs
A willingness to work night shift
Experience working in a GMP environment and/or manufacturing is an asset
