Duties
-Performs Sonography procedures efficiently, in a fast paced environment.
-Proven computer literacy
-Preference given to experience in EMR environment
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving abilities
-Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently, and/or as part of the inter-professional team.
-Demonstrates commitment to professional development
-Demonstrates good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain the same standard.
Requirements
-Candidates must possess certification in AB, OB/GYN medical sonography from a recognized Canadian accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program.
-MSK, Vascular sonography and Echocardiography certification is an asset, but not required.
-At least one year experience as a professional Sonographer is preferred.
-Candidate must be registered with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS, as well as CMRITO.
-Current BCLS CPR certification is an asset
-Proof of current police criminal record check
