Vita Foot Clinic, a trusted provider of comprehensive foot and lower limb care, is seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Chiropody Assistant / Receptionist to support our clinical team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. As part of Vita Partners, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by managing front-desk responsibilities and assisting with clinical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Administration
Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar
Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing records
Maintain accurate patient files and ensure confidentiality
Coordinate referrals and follow-up communications
Clinical Support
Prepare treatment rooms and assist with patient setup
Support chiropodists during procedures (e.g., handing instruments, organizing supplies)
Reprocess instruments and maintain IPAC compliance
Monitor and restock clinical inventory
Assist with orthotics, compression stocking fittings, and product education
Document basic patient information and assist with intake forms
Qualifications
Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Comfortable using EMR systems and basic office software
Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn clinical protocols and assist with procedures
Up-to-date immunizations and familiarity with infection control standards
Currently in a Chiropody or podiatry program is an asset
