Greetings Michener Alumni. I hope you are enjoying the summer and more importantly, I hope that you and your loved ones are doing well. While we are not quite back into the swing of things, we are certainly getting there with increased vaccinations.
Since our last update, Michener held their second virtual graduation on June 12. And as last year, just prior to the ceremony, the Alumni Association hosted our Meet and Greet and Michener Trivia on Kahoot!. It was well attended and great fun! Congratulations to the class of 2021 and welcome to the Michener alumni community.
Over the summer, we have been monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and potential re-opening of the province on Michener events. However, orientation for the new academic year will remain virtual with lots of great activities planned.
Hopefully, as this summer has given you an opportunity to connect in person with family and friends after a very long time, Michener is also keeping an eye to returning to an increase in in-person activity on campus.
