Additionally, we offer nine treatment rooms, including a specially designed room for couples' massages, ensuring a comfortable and serene environment for our patients.True to our namesake, Circle Care embodies a holistic approach to healthcare. We are proud to assemble a collaborative team of multi-disciplinary allied healthcare providers who work together seamlessly to become an integral part of each patient's comprehensive circle of care. Duties
1) Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' foot and lower limb conditions.
2) Formulate accurate diagnoses based on physical examinations and medical histories.
3) Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, considering their specific conditions and needs.
Administer treatments for foot ailments such as corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and fungal infections.
4) Perform nail surgeries and other minor procedures as necessary.
5) Assess the need for and design custom orthotic devices to address gait and foot alignment issues.
6) Educate patients on proper foot care, hygiene, and preventative measures.
7) Evaluate and manage foot ulcers, wounds, and diabetic foot conditions.
8) Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide referrals when required.
9) Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
10) Pursue continuing education to stay current with developments in chiropody.
11) Offer emotional support and guidance to patients dealing with chronic foot conditions or injuries.
Requirements
1) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chiropody from an accredited institution.
2) Current Chiropodist license or registration in Ontario
3) Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
4) Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
5) Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
6) Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance.
