Bloor Foot Care & Orthotics is hiring a chiropodist for their Dufferin location (1078 Bloor St W)! The clinic is located in Toronto and is on the Bloor subway line. The space is a medical clinic conjoined with a pharmacy; hence, providing an opportunity to constantly collaborate and learn from pharmacists, family physicians, phlebotomists, and nurses daily who are very welcoming and always happy to help - especially if help is required with prescription medications, blood work, imaging requisitions, or just general inquiry, etc. It is a great place to learn from fellow healthcare practitioners daily!The clinic provides a full scope of practice with the addition of NEC toenail bracing and reconstruction, shockwave, ultrasound, TENS, IFC. and soft tissue therapy - training can be provided.

Duties
Perform comprehensive foot assessments and identify foot conditions and abnormalities.
Educated patients on proper foot care practices and preventative measures.
Provide chiropody services: diabetic foot and wound care, toenail and skin treatment (e.g. callus, corns, warts, fungal toenails, ingrown toenails, etc), injections and surgeries, custom orthotics, compression stockings.
Requirements
Registered and licensed with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
Professional Liability Insurance
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
