Duties
-Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education/counselling and other primary clinical foot care activities to the full scope of Chiropody practice and according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
-Provide thorough and timely foot care for our clients
-Provide and fit functional orthotics for clients within limits of resources
-Daily completion of patient charting and documentation
-Participate in occasional diabetes and primary care team and staff meetings
-Provide educational sessions on preventative care
-Act as a footcare expert resource to staff members and community stakeholders
-Maintain competence and license to practice as required
Requirements
-Graduated from an accredited school of chiropody and licensed by the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
-Good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario & holds professional liability insurance.
-A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field
- Knowledge of biomechanics, custom foot orthotics and foot care for clients within limits of resources
-Ability to successfully manage foot manifestations of systemic medical conditions
-Familiarity with electronic health records, preferably Practice Solutions (PS)

-3 Weeks paid vacation, with an increase to 4 weeks after 1 year of employment
