Looking for a patient-centric, motivated and caring associate with excellent Chiropody skills. Busy growing private foot care clinic in Mississauga. Initial position will be 2-3 days/week with a potential of becoming full time. Looking to take existing patient load for 2 weekdays and Saturdays. Duties
Perform assessment, treatment, health education/counselling and other primary clinical foot care activities to the full scope of Chiropody practice and according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
- Provide thorough and timely foot care for our patients
- Perform detailed biomechanical assessments, prescribe & modify custom foot orthoses, provide nail surgeries, custom foot orthotics, stockings, orthopedic shoes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans & progress notes
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing clinical education, training
- Make referrals to internal and external services and advocate on behalf of clients as appropriate
- Maintain competence, patient confidentiality and license to practice
