Duties
Performs CT procedures, some General Radiography (when needed), and digital quality assurance
Communicates with team members and management personnel
Participates in professional development, teaching and educational activities, and mentoring
This position requires a rotation to another UHN site, to be determined
Requirements
Registration with the CMRITO
Previous General Imaging experience
Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
One (1) year recent experience in related area of responsibility, required
Current experience (within the last 5 years) in computed tomography, required
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situation
Demonstrated strong technical skills and image quality
Knowledge of basic anatomy and pathology
Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities
Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a supportive team environment
Excellent problem solving and recognition skills
Commitment to continuing education
Excellent teaching skills
Demonstrated good work performance and attendance history
Effective computer skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Previous Level 3 CT experience or willing to be trained up to a Level 3 CT, preferred
Membership with the CAMRT, preferred
Completion of certified injection course, preferred
Completion or currently enrolled in the CTIC offered by the CAMRT, preferred

$37.51 - $46.89 per hour
