Duties
Perform all x-ray exams as per departmental protocols/ policies following radiation safety practices for the protection of the patient, colleagues, and their own occupational dose.
Prepare and assess patients for radiologic procedures including obtaining consent and confirming exam validity, ensuring patient confidentiality. Complete exam process by image review and completing documentation.
Requirements
Current registration with CMRITO
Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS) and/or holds required liability insurance as defined by CMRITO
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Evidence of continuing professional development
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
