We are a radiology office located in midtown Toronto (Yonge and Davisville) providing imaging services on referral from the dental community. We are a fee for service clinic and do not bill OHIP. The office is only open weekdays and we do not work evenings or weekends. We are a small office and patients are seen by appointment only, enabling us to control workflow and offer an optimal patient experience. An oral and maxillofacial radiologist is present in the office at all times to offer help and support.

Duties
The MRT will perform cone beam CT scans, panoramic and cephalometric radiography and aid the radiologist in reformatting images. We realize that some MRTs don't have experience in cone beam CT and panoramic radiography but we will train the successful candidate. Training is typically completed in one day because the imaging equipment is very simple to operate. The radiologist is present in the office during all patient examinations to offer guidance as needed. Your education will give you the background needed to easily learn the skills necessary for this job opportunity.
Requirements
No CT experience or CT certification is required. No dental radiography experience is required.
Candidate must be a graduate from an approved Medical Radiation Technology program in any discipline. Current registration and in good standing with CMRITO. Candidates with all levels of experience, including new graduates, are welcome to apply. Excellent written and verbal English skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, excellent problem-solving skills. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, proficient in using Microsoft Office products. Ability and willingness to learn new skills. Knowledge of facial hard tissue (bone) and dental anatomy is an asset but training/review of anatomy will be provided.
