We are seeking a Permanent Part Time MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Medical Team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in beautiful Cranbrook, B.C.
East Kootenay Regional Hospital is centrally located 1 km from downtown Cranbrook and very close to the College of the Rockies and the RecPlex. Pay parking is available and cafeteria services are on-site, as are a pharmacy and coffee shop. Cranbrook is close to 3 ski hills and 8 golf courses not to mention several fishing lakes and streams. Great area for hiking and mountain biking as well.

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader (or designate), the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This position is responsible for assisting the Radiologists during procedure, inputting patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and providing direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.
This position involves day and evening shifts and may require working weekends per operational requirements.

Graduate of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
Training and experience in another modality (CT, Xray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine) would be an asset.
