An international leader in medical imaging, we conduct a large volume of various exams for diverse patient populations from the Emergency Department to Outpatients and Inpatients.

Duties
In this role you will:
> Produce diagnostic imaging exams of the highest image quality possible
> Ensure patient and staff safety in and around the MRI environment
> Provide exceptional patient care
> Effectively work independently and as a team member with the goal of maximizing scanner utilization
> Operate, evaluate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment and software issues
> Consistent, thorough documentation of all aspects of MR examination
> Participate in education of students
> Participate in research studies if applicable
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Mandatory
> Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
> Medical Radiation Technologist (MR) designation
> Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Level II certificate
> Cross sectional anatomy course
> Contrast injection course
Preferred
> Recent experience as a practicing MRI technologist

> Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
> Excellent problem recognition and solving skills
> Ability to accept varying shifts and responsibilities

Hours
15 hrs/week, variable shifts including evenings and weekends (1 in 4 weekends); additional hours may be required
