Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Independent Health Facility in Sarnia Ontario performing nuclear medicine studies
Perform all appropriate steps of nuclear medicine procedure, including patient preparation, imaging and processing of images for physician interpretation.
Order and receive radiopharmaceuticals and other supplies, ensuring completion of appropriate safety protocols.
Perform radiation safety monitoring, reporting and record keeping under supervision of radiation safety officer.
Proven computer literacy
Preference given to experience in EMR environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving abilities
Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently, and/or as part of the inter-professional team.
Demonstrates commitment to professional development
Demonstrates good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain the same standard.
Candidates must be a graduate from a Canadian accredited Program
At least one year experience as a professional Technologist
Candidate must be registered with CMRTO and CAMRT
Current CBMD certification is an asset
Current BCLS CPR certification is an asset
