Duties
Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, you will conduct diagnostic tests of organ physiology using radioactive substances to enable the physician to make a diagnosis. You will use techniques for producing images that contribute to making a diagnosis in the context of diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine.
Given the presence and use of radioactive substances required in nuclear medicine, you must be consistent in adhering to ambient safety standards and strict radioprotection measures, which must be applied for you, the patients and anyone else involved.
Requirements
Profile :
Hold a college diploma in nuclear medicine technology ;
• Be an active member of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) ;
• Be an active member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) ;
• Hold a valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate ;
• Have a minimum of six (6) months’ experience as a registered technologist in a hospital setting.
Asset :
• Have experience with the PACS system and Meditech
