Position Summary
Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, B.C. is seeking a Relief Part Time (0.60 FTE) Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their Medical Imaging team.

This position is a relief ending April 18, 2024 or upon the return of the incumbent. This position will work rotating days with the shift times being 06:30 to 14:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 07:00 to 15:00.

What Will You Work On?
This position performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with departmental policies. Duties include preparing patients for examination, operating nuclear medicine equipment, monitoring patient during procedures, preparing, dispensing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing routine quality control tests on imaging equipment, monitoring area utilizing appropriate detection devices and disposing of radioactive substances and contaminated items by following established guidelines.

Requirements

Qualifications
Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
