From x-rays and mammography to the most current nuclear imaging, Vitalim employs the most sophisticated equipment in a fully digitized facility. All examinations are performed by our uniquely-trained staff who uphold the most rigorous standards of professionalism, and the entire experience is designed to maximize our patients’ comfort.

Duties

-Maintaining patient confidentiality, making sure patients are correctly identified, being safe, and being prepared for a nuclear medicine scan.
-Capable of carrying out nuclear medicine procedures as described in the procedure manuals, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and I.V. administration, Myocardial perfusion imaging, and MUGA scans
-Maintaining safe practices when using all medical equipment, operating and troubleshooting instructions provided by the manufacturer, and reporting any nuclear medicine equipment failures
-Maintain the health and safety of the workforce, the general public, and the environment by adhering to approved radiation safety procedures.
-Maintaining inventory and alerting the manager to any shortages.
-Adhering to all CNSC and Vitalim policies and procedures

Requirements

-Graduate of a recognized training program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
-Current active registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario
-Personal Liability Insurance required
-Current BCLS certification
-Minimum 0-1 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
-New Grads welcome !
-RSO Certification is an asset
