Duties
Position Overview: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is primarily responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
• Perform quality control procedures on nuclear medicine equipment
• Operate and ensure nuclear medicine equipment and instruments are performing in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare written and electronic reports required to document all procedures and test results
• Participate in educational, research, safety, and quality improvement activities
• Perform cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Relevant Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited post-secondary program in nuclear medicine
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Knowledge and proficiency of Nuclear Medicine procedures and operating regulations
• Registration in Good Standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work well independently and in an interdisciplinary team environment
• Proficient computer skills
• Experience with EMR systems
