Patient Data entry
Labeling of specimens
Report/result delivery to Physician
Inventory restocking/ordering Performing phlebotomy for our clients
Ensure that all samples are properly labeled and identified before testing
Identify incidents and non-conformities, participate in the development of effective corrective action plans, escalate as appropriate and drive continuous improvement in Phlebotomy delivery and services
Greet clients, request required information for protocols, explain the specimen collection process and ensure clients have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection
Perform Audio Visual and Pulmonary Testing for Annual Health Assessment clients- training for this function will be provided
Knowledge of medical lab terminology/lab technical testing
Prior experience as a Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant
Graduates of Medical Lab Assistant/Technician program preferred
Prior experience in a medical environment, preferably in a Clinic setting
Superior organization and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate level in MS Office and Outlook
Problem solving skills, including the ability to identify and follow-up on issues
Ability to maintain the strictest standards of safety, patient privacy and confidentiality
This is a Casual role that is scheduled during business hours (7.00 a.m.-7.30 p.m.) Monday-Saturday. Regular Saturday shifts are available. Week day coverage needs will vary based on full-time team absence coverage requirements. The role reports to the Laboratory- Team Lead.
