Duties
About the Opportunity
The Radiation Therapist accurately and precisely prepares a cancer patient and their chart for administration of a course of radiation treatments. The Radiation Therapist will function as a key member of the Cancer Treatment Team. It is expected that the therapist will rotate through radiation treatment preparation, simulation, mould room, dosimetry and treatment delivery.
Requirements
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
• Upcoming Graduate OR Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program in Canada or a non-Canadian program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• Registration (or eligible for registration) with Nova Scotia Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
Hours
• Various permanent, assignments (temporary), opportunities available at Cape Breton Regional, Sydney, Nova Scotia. • Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary
$43.24 - $50.41 Hourly
