Location
Humber River Health - Wilson Site
Duties
-Perform all CT procedures as per determined department protocols or as directed by the Radiologist
-Ability to operate all types of equipment used within the departments, including CT scanner, Contrast Injectors, etc
-Prepare and assess patients for CT scan including obtaining contrast consent, confirming exam validity, sterile technique practices and resourcing Radiologist as is necessary
-Complete exam process by image review, confirming documentation and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS
-Knowledge of and dutifully follows radiation safety practices for the protection of the patient, colleagues and their own occupational dose
Requirements
-Must be registered and in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
-Registration with the CAMRT preferred
-CT certificate preferred
-Previous experience in CT preferred
-Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Must have good teamwork and customer service skills.
-Must be IV certified.
-Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
Hours
Available to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends
Salary
$36.84-$50.24
