The Juravinski Hospital & Cancer Centre, located on the brow of the central Hamilton escarpment is best known as a leading regional acute and tertiary care centre, and home to a community emergency department, general medical and intensive care service, and a robust surgical program and the Regional Cancer Program.
The CT Department at the Juravinski Hospital provides critical imaging services essential for the rapid diagnosis and management of oncology, orthopedic and ED patients. This department plays a vital role in supporting the multidisciplinary care teams by delivering high-resolution imaging to guide urgent and complex treatment decisions.
Position Summary
As a member of a Multidisciplinary Health Care team, co-ordinates, performs and evaluates Diagnostic Services examinations within the specific modalities and disciplines. Guides and directs clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment and provides patient care within the core values of respect, caring, innovation and accountability. Rotation though other modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements maybe required.
Our HHS Diagnostic Services team supports a high volume of diverse adult and pediatric patients and families, providing service in most areas 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Diagnostic Services at HHS includes X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology.

Qualifications
· Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology
· Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO)
· Professional designation of Registered Medical Radiology Technologist (MRT)
· Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
· Experience in a similar hospital environment with CT preferred
· Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
· Demonstrated effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills
· Effective problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced clinical environment
· Evidence of participation in ongoing education & professional development
· Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred
