The division of JDMI specializes in various Computed Tomography (CT) procedures at University Health Network. As a valued member of Team JDMI, you will play a key role in state-of-the-art technology and a team of innovative staff dedicated to patient care and superb image quality, backed by a commitment to continuing education and quality assurance program initiatives.

Duties

Assisting in Patient Preparation for CT Exams
Provides exam explanation (training provided)
Preparation and cleaning of Equipment for Patient exams
Coordination of Patient exams for optimal utilization and efficiency in collaboration with CT Technologist
IV Insertions (training provided)
Documentation of Patient Information

Requirements

Qualifications
Completion of Secondary School
Completion of international medical radiation technology program or other medical program, preferred
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situation
Demonstrated strong inter-professional and collaborative approach to practice
Demonstrated good judgement to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the team
Ability to learn new skills, and adapt to process changes
Demonstrated good work performance and attendance history
Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities
Effective computer skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills including thorough formal clinical documentation
Ability to work variable shifts

37.5 hours per week

Salary

$23.54 - $29.43 per hour
