Margie Patterson Memorial Scholarship in Molecular Genetics

Established in 2005 in memory of Margie Patterson, a Medical Laboratory Technologist, this award is presented to a student who achieved excellence in molecular genetics studies, who demonstrated excellent technical skills in the laboratory and who exhibited professional behaviour in both academic and health care settings. The recipient of this award is nominated by their clinical coordinator based on their leadership skills and commitment to improving the lives of their patients.
