About the Course

This course is designed for healthcare professionals or other individuals who require a strong foundation of knowledge and understanding of the complexities of the human body.

The anatomy and physiology of the human body is viewed as an integrated relationship of structures and functions. The unifying themes throughout the course reflect the concepts of the human body not as an assemblage of isolated parts, but as an integrated system that works together to maintain homeostasis.

Course modules group information into related anatomy and physiology subsections using a variety of learning resources – course recommended textbook, critical thinking questions, overview PowerPoint presentations and more. Graded quizzes will be held virtually throughout the course to keep track of progress.
