Human Genetics with Continuing Education at Michener provides great foundational knowledge of human genetics and provides learners an understanding of how genetics plays an important role in healthcare today. An excellent introductory course in human genetics for healthcare practitioners, internationally-trained healthcare practitioners and those interested in developing careers in human/medical genetics.

This course is a College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) approved refresher course.

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will understand Human Genetics through study of cells, cell division, modes of inheritance, human ancestry and human evolution.

This course meets the prerequisite requirement for consideration into the Genetics Technology Program.
